Covid-19

The rapid spreading of coronavirus throughout our world is providing our church with an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community. We want to show the light and hope of the gospel especially during these tumultuous times. We wait with anticipation the day we can worship together; until then, we will provide resources to aid your walk with Jesus, as well as providing for any physical needs you or your neighbors have. It is our hope that through the upcoming weeks, Christ Community will be able to better love God, love people, and love Gainesville than we do in our normal routines. Our staff, elders, and deacons are working to equip you and your families during this time. Check out resources for worship, devotionals, prayer, and liturgies below.

If you or your neighbors have any physical needs (someone to pick up groceries or prescriptions, childcare, rides to the doctor, or financial needs), please contact info@christcommunitychurch.com or call (352) 379-4949.

Let us not be afraid during this time, but lean on the sovereign God who calms the seas and the storm. May he be glorified!

  • Sunday Worship

While we are unable to gather physically, we will continue to gather digitally to worship our Sovereign God. Subscribe to our YouTube channel to view our worship services each Sunday.

  • Family Easter Devotional

Help your family get excited about Easter by walking together through a daily devotional. Start or re-start a time in God's word that is so very important and speaks to the whole of life. This 10 min family devotional walks alongside the book from last Easter The Garden, the Curtain, and the Cross. It's easy to use and has activities and questions included each day. Join us as we point our children to how amazing Jesus is and why what he did on the cross is so astonishing!

  • Tuesday Night PRayer Meeting

On Tuesday evenings from 8-8:30, we will join together via video conference to corporately approach God’s gracious and attentive throne and pray for our church, city, and world as we navigate these times. Click here is the link to join the meeting Tuesday night.
