Defining Moments Update:
We're getting closer and closer to opening the doors to our new building! Construction continues to make exciting progress as more finishing touches are completed each week.
Inside the building, furniture continues to arrive and be assembled in the offices, restroom partitions are nearly complete, and bathroom accessories have been installed. All acoustical ceilings are finished, Marmoleum flooring has been installed throughout the lobby and hallways, and glass is now in place in all interior doors. Electricians, HVAC technicians, and plumbers are also completing final inspections and adjustments as we work toward receiving our Certificate of Occupancy!
Outside, exterior painting is complete, stonework around the front pillars is finished, and aluminum awnings have been installed. Battens have also been added to the gathering area and cross tower, bringing even more of the exterior details together!
Still to come, crews will finish installing baseboards in the offices and sanctuary, make final adjustments to the aluminum doors, and complete the cabinetry in the café, children's check-in area, and main lobby counter. Downspouts will also be installed around the exterior pillars.
It's exciting to see all the hard work and planning come together as we approach the finish line! We're incredibly grateful for everyone who has played a part in bringing this project to life.
With construction now 99% complete, we're almost ready to open the doors to our new space! We can't wait to see how God will use this building for years to come!
