Sunday Mornings

What to Expect for Sunday Worship

Thank you for considering attending CCC

We are excited to welcome new people into our community. Our time together on Sunday morning includes preaching, sacraments, teaching and discussion, Scripture reading, and corporate singing.

What should I wear?
Casual attire is appropriate at Christ Community Church. Some people wear suits; others wear jeans. Please dress comfortably and remember that we gather on Sundays to worship God together with everything we have.

What about children?
There are many opportunities for your child on Sunday morning. Our staff members and volunteers are well trained, and we thoroughly investigate the background of those working with children. For more information on our children's ministries, please click here. Our youth group, designed for children beyond 5th grade, meets most Sunday evenings and has frequent events, parties and retreats.
How long does the service last?
Our worship service normally lasts for an hour and fifteen minutes. On the first and third Sundays of each month we observe the Lord's Supper together, and this can add a few minutes to the service time.

Worshiping during COVID

We are currently offering the following options:
* recording and live-streaming our 10:45 a.m. service,
* opening doors to increase ventilation, and
* providing extensive patio seating.

Masks are now voluntary.
Tithes and offerings will not be passed; instead, baskets will be placed in the sanctuary for giving. You may also continue to give electronically.

We want to join in the holy sacrament of communion. Passed communion elements of bread, wine and juice are being shared. If you prefer, we have prepackaged communion elements available. We are also able to deliver the communion elements or arrange for them to be picked up. Please email for more details.

Also, our children's ministry has reopened. For more information, email
If you are unable or do not feel comfortable attending a worship service, please continue to worship with us online. Our deacons are eager to assist anyone in need and have offered to distribute communion elements to anyone worshiping at home. Should you have any questions or if we can help serve you or your family in some way, please let us know.
